The University of Colorado is in the heart of the city and offers academic, cultural, and sporting events for the citizens of the community.

The surrounding communities of Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, Superior, Erie, Broomfield are also desirable communities to live in. They are close to Boulder and Denver and each have special features that draw people to them. In that they are east of Boulder, they have awesome mountain views as one looks to the west.
